One Winnipeg

On Thursday, January 22nd 2015, dozens of Winnipeg Aboriginal and community leaders, academic and non profit organization representatives and City Councillors joined Mayor Brian Bowman at City Hall to stand in solidarity on Treaty One land and the traditional land of the Métis people, to face racism head on.

Racism is a national issue and not exclusive to Winnipeg, but we do have a lot of work to do right here at home. By working as a community, Winnipeg can lead the nation in breaking down barriers that exist for Canadians of every colour, race and religion from coast to coast to coast. But it takes all of us working together, undivided, as one Winnipeg.

If you have something to say, then we want to hear it! Send us your one big idea, ask your one pressing question, or go ahead and just have your say. Either way, we want you to share your thoughts with us!
